    The Central Enterprise Star Innovation Competition is sponsored by the State-owned Enterprises Commission, supported by the Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the State Intellectual Property Office and the China Association for Science and Technology, sponsored by China Electrical Science, and co-sponsored by 12 enterprises, such as the Aerospace Science, Technology and Industry. In November 2018, according to the requirements of the "2008 Central Enterprise Star Innovation Competition Scheme" and the competition office, after more than seven months of careful preparation, the "Key Technologies Breakthrough of High Power III-V Laser Chips" selected by Xi'an Lixin Photoelectric Company emerged from the 2658 declared entries and became the representative of Shaanxi Province. One of the entries of the Western SASAC has been successfully selected for the second round of the 2008 Central Enterprise Star Innovation and Creativity Competition. In the second round, the project was highly affirmed by the judges of the competition. On June 6, 2019, the General Office of SASASAC of the State Council issued the "Notice on the List of Winners of the 2018 Central Enterprise Star Innovation and Creativity Competition".     The project "Key Technologies Breakthrough of High Power III-V Laser Chips" mainly studies the key technologies of high power III-V Laser Chips, involving GaAs Laser Chips with wavelength from 635 to 1310 nm, including multi-mode, single-mode bar and single tube. The power of single transistor is from 3W to 20W, and the power of bar is from 40W to 300W. Applications include high power laser processing chips and optical communication chips. Through this project, the core technology of high power laser chip industrialization is obtained, the bottleneck problem is solved, the industrialization process is promoted, the complete laser industry chain is further formed, and the development of semiconductor optoelectronic technology and industry in China is promoted.
